We have developed a new videotap solution for the Arriflex 16SR which is compatible with the 16SR, SR2 and SR3 (Some Denz converted cameras are also compatible).

This solution utilises your smartphone as the taking camera and primary video monitor. The Videotap was designed around iPhone Max models however it is compatible with nearly every brand and model of smartphone.

• Ease of install - Anyone can install our videotap themselves with no specialised tools or jigs. Simply unscrew the 4 top handle screws, put our videotap on and reuse the same screw to secure it in place.
• Ease of use - 4 Thumb screws (provided) allow you to easily align your chosen phone in seconds. If you decide to switch back to the optical viewfinder you can do so in 2 seconds by loosening the screws and removing your phone.
• Viewfinder brightness - Because no beamsplitter is required you will retain 100% brightness from the optical viewfinder.
• Image quality - Because the tap uses the bright optical viewfinder and the exceptional quality image capture of modern smartphones, this videotap solution provides some of the clearest, brightest images possible. Pulling focus need never be a hassle again.
• Connectivity - Because we are utilising modern smartphones we also gain all the additional benefits, bright OLED display, external wired monitor via cheap lightning/USB-C to HDMI or SDI cable and you can simultaneously connect to iPads and laptops via Airplay or equivalent.
